**Job Title:** Long-Haul Truck Driver
**Location:** On-site (No remote work available)
**Education:** Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
**Experience:** No experience required – training provided
**Language:** English

### **Key Responsibilities:**
1. Load and unload goods
2. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
3. Conduct inspections on tires, lights, brakes, cold storage units, and other vehicle components
4. Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
5. Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
6. Carry out preventive maintenance
7. Communicate with central dispatch
8. Maintain records of cargo, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
9. Ensure safety and security of cargo, including tarping as required

### **Requirements:**
- **License:** Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
- **Transportation Experience:** Long-haul experience preferred (not required)
- **Security:** Driver’s license validity check required
